Community Connections Program
Located at Palmer Munroe Teen Center in Tallahassee, FL, the Community Connections Program is a restorative program that serves youth between the ages of 13 and 17, most of whom are referred as a result of involvement with the legal system or difficulty in school or at home.  Typically, teens come to us as a diversion option to court, as part of their probation, or as a community referral. The program begins with a restorative conference, followed by 14 weeks of classes on empathic, or Nonviolent Communication, skills. For every youth in the cycle, there is also a community volunteer.

Although it has since changed its name to "Restorative Response Baltimore" and its statistics have far surpassed this video, still this presents a great introduction to restorative practices in school, neighborhood, and criminal justice settings.
